"We've had worse weekends" - Wallis reflects on amazing treble
New Destiny, the first of an incredible 3 Category One wins in less than an hour for Mark Wallis

THE landmarks just kept coming for Mark Wallis on Saturday with New Destiny's bet365 Challenge Cup victory at Oxford opening the floodgates.

She was the 100th Category One winner sent out from the Imperial Kennels base occupied first by Linda Jones then son-in-law Wallis who succeeded her, and the win was swiftly followed by a scarcely-credulous two more top level victories within the hour courtesy of Garfiney Blaze then Proper Heiress at Hove.

Just for good measure, the weekend also saw the kennel go through the 200-open win mark for the year with a 15th champion trainer title for Wallis in the bag too.

The trainer caught up with Jonathan Kay to discuss his trio of weekend Category One winners, all of whom are owned by the MWD Partnership.

Wallis will talk about the impact the MWD tie-up has had on Wednesday in addition to highlighting a couple of under-the-radar greyhounds to follow in 2025.
