Towcester brings forward entry deadline for Christmas sweeps
TOWCESTER has announced details of the graded sweepstakes which will feature on the track's Christmas Bonanza card on Saturday 21st December highlighted by the bet365 Puppy Oaks final.
All heats will be staged on Sunday 15th December and greyhounds must entered for the races in the manner of an open by contacting the racing by office by phone or e-mail no later than 12 noon on Monday 9th December, 48 hours earlier than originally stated.
The competitions are:
1. 500m for greyhounds that have contested at least 4 x 500m races at Towcester and not previously gone faster than 29.70sec.
2. 270m for greyhounds that have contested at least 4 x 270m races at Towcester and not previously gone faster than 16.20sec.
3. 500m pups (Jan 2023 or younger) that have contested at least 2 x 500m races at Towcester and not previously broken 30.00sec.
4. 712m for greyhounds that have contested at least 4 graded races at Towcester, not previously gone faster than 44.00sec over 712m and not previously contested in A2 grade or above over four bends.
