Rugby legend Marler enlisted to spread the word on rehoming

THE GBGB, which launched the withagreyhound.org.uk rehoming website last autumn, has enlisted rugby legend Joe Marler to spread the world.
Recently retired himself, Marler features in ‘Adopt a Sporting Legend’ which is a spoof documentary from PR agency W Communications asking ‘ What’s more adoptable, a cuddly canine or a great big rugby giant?’.
Mark Moisley, commercial director at GBGB, told the Racing Post: “We obviously put the Withagreyhound website together and launched it last November and needed to do a big marketing push to get it out to as wide an audience as possible."
Marler has recently signed up for TV show Celebrity Traitors TV programme giving the campaign even more impetus with Moisley adding: “There was a feature on it on TalkSport [Radio], the video got to 100,000 views in the first day, and the tabloids have picked up on it. And even the New York Times, so we’ve gone global!”
Two sporting legends, but only one is the perfect housemate 🐶🏉
