Plunge rises to occasion to post the fastest Riband opening time
DROOPYS PLUNGE set the standard in the delayed opening round of the Greyhound Racing UK Blue Riband over 500m at Towcester.
Completing a double for trainer Patrick Janssens, who had earlier scored with Barntick Bear, Droopys Plunge easily landed odds 0f 2/7 when landing the fifth heat in 28.57sec (+10).
Tom Heilbron emulated Janssens' achievement, registering a double of his own courtesy of Untold Euro and Untold Ruble.
