LEFT CORNER BACK made it four wins in six career starts when setting the standard in the opening round of the €80,000 Con & Annie Kirby Memorial over 525 yards at Limerick.
Trained by Thomas Leahy for Damien O'Connell, the June 2023 son of Here Comes Syd and Westpoint Jorgi broke only moderately in heat eight but paced up well and was really brave in cutting across rivals at the first bend.
In command from that point, he came home six and a half lengths to the good of Tally Ho Socks in clocking a best-of-night 28.24sec.
