Standard-setters Kobe and Birch dominate Puppy Derby market
BALLYMAC KOBE and Bombay Birch dominate the betting for Sunday's English Puppy Derby final over 500m at Towcester (live on sisracing.tv) after respectively setting the first round and semi-final standard in the Category One event.
Bombay Birch is unbeaten in the competition, while Ballymac Kobe went down by a neck in the semis to King Jackson, also unbeaten having been in charge of his heat when the hare was stopped in the interests of safety.
Jonathan Kay looks back at last weekend's semi-final action and ahead to Sunday's £10,000 decider.
